Atlantic Canada Export Café The Netherlands

Discover premium seafood from the cold North Atlantic

February 5, 2026 - February 6, 2026
From February 2–6, 2026, leading seafood processors and exporters from Atlantic Canada will visit England, Germany, and the Netherlands to meet with European seafood buyers during a series of three Export Café events.
The Dutch edition of the Export Café will take place on Thursday, February 5, and Friday, February 6, 2026.
This all-species seafood mission, with lobster in the spotlight, offers a unique opportunity for European buyers to connect directly with trusted Canadian suppliers, explore new sourcing opportunities, and strengthen trade relationships.
The initiative is promoted by the Lobster Council of Canada, supported by the Federal and Atlantic Provincial Governments of Canada, and organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Canada in the Netherlands and Phaff Export Marketing.
At the most easterly edge of North America, Atlantic Canadian harvesters, farmers, and processors are dedicated to providing high-quality, sustainable seafood from the cold, clean waters of the North Atlantic Ocean. Their impressive range of products - including lobster, snow crab, coldwater shrimp, farmed Atlantic salmon, scallops, halibut, herring, Atlantic cod, blue mussels, oysters, and redfish - is enjoyed in more than 130 countries worldwide. The taste, quality, and consistency of Atlantic Canadian seafood are truly unlike anywhere else in the world.
The B2B meetings in the Netherlands will take place on Thursday afternoon, February 5, and Friday morning, February 6. Further details about the venue and participating companies will be shared soon.
