Export training in the United States
Phaff Export Marketing is invited to give practical export training during the annual meeting of the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA), in Tennessee. SUSTA members, that are starting to export or already are exporting, can register to attend this practical export training.
As SUSTA's In-Europe consultants, Rosanne Phaff and Anouk Dijkgraaf will travel to the United States for this activity. They will be in Tennesee from the 6th of October until the 8th of October 2020.
The focus of this export training is exporting to the European market. During this export training, starting exporters in the United States will be informed about the challenges of the European market and about the opportunities in the European market, and about how to be ready for this attractive market.
When a vendor from the United States would like to start to export to the European market, it is important that he understands the market fully.
The export training is existing out of a presentation and individual one-on-one meetings.
Topics that will be discussed during the presentation, are among others:
- Trends in the markets
- Entry strategy
- Terms of payment
- Terms of delivery
- Structure of the supply chain in Europe
Besides the presentations, the exporters can meet the Phaff Export Marketing-staff during one-on-one meetings. During these one-on-one meetings, Rosanne Phaff and Anouk Dijkgraaf will give individual advice, about, for example, entry strategy and packaging regulations for Europe.
The export training is part of a larger educational program for SUSTA members, including webinars and export videos. Phaff Export Marketing works on this program during the whole year, to help vendors from the United States, who would like to start exporting.
