Greenhouse technology trade mission to Italy

Greenhouse technology trade mission to Italy

October 5, 2025 - October 8, 2025

Explore market opportunities and meet partners in Northern Italy

Are you active in greenhouse technology and curious about your growth opportunities in Italy? From October 5-8, 2025, the Netherlands Embassy in Rome, together with Phaff Export Marketing, is organizing a trade mission to Northern Italy. This mission offers Dutch companies the opportunity to connect with growers, cooperatives, distributors, and researchers from the region.

Why join this mission?

Northern Italy, with regions such as Veneto and Lombardy, is an emerging hotspot for modern greenhouse horticulture. Growers in these regions focus on vegetables and fruits such as tomatoes, aubergines, strawberries, lettuce, and melons, as well as flowers and plants. Much of this production takes place in heated greenhouses, soilless systems, or under tunnels.

There is strong demand for sustainable and innovative solutions, including water efficiency, climate control, automation, and digitalisation. The willingness to collaborate with international partners is high.

During this mission, you will gain insights into the Italian market, regulations, and investment climate. You will visit leading companies, producer organisations, and research institutions. There will also be good opportunities to network with relevant players in the sector.

Who should join?

The mission is aimed at Dutch suppliers of horticultural technology. This includes suppliers of greenhouses and greenhouse structures, climate and lighting systems, irrigation and water solutions, sensor technology and crop monitoring, robotics, data platforms and automation, substrate and cultivation systems, sustainable energy solutions, and integrated pest management or biological solutions.
