Seamless organization: SSGA’s strategic visit to Europe

Seamless organization: SSGA’s strategic visit to Europe

Where AgriFood meets logistics

The Specialty Soya and Grains Alliance (SSGA) came to Europe to promote the St. Lawrence Seaway and connect with key players in AgriFood and logistics. Their goal: raise awareness of this strategic waterway and explore new trade opportunities with European partners. Phaff Export Marketing helped turn that ambition into a well-organized and impactful visit.

How we made it happen

We managed every aspect of the program – before, during, and after the mission. From selecting relevant companies for site visits, to booking hotels and coordinating local transport. The highlight was a professional networking event in Rotterdam, where international and Dutch stakeholders met, exchanged knowledge, and discovered mutual interests. Our team took care of all the details, so SSGA could focus on building relationships.

Networking event highlight

In addition to the logistics, we organized a high-level networking event both in Rotterdam and Antwerp, including invitations and follow-up. Decision-makers from both sides of the Atlantic came together to explore the potential of the St. Lawrence Seaway.

The result

Phaff curated a focused program with the right appointments, field visits, events, and excellent logistics, all thoughtfully tailored to match SSGA’s goals.

This was not a standard trade mission, but a complex outreach trip focused on transportation. Phaff Export Marketing showed true event expertise and knowledge— from logistics to guest management and the right atmosphere.
