The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) organized a Trade Mission for Bakery Ingredients to Spain. This event took place October 2-4, 2023. TDA asked Phaff Export Marketing to organize the program.

Texas Agriculture

Home to the most farms and ranches in the U.S., Texas plays a large role in global agricultural exports. They are a top producer of more than 35 different agricultural commodities. An important part of this is the Bakery Ingredients, such as pecans and peanuts. Pecans are the only tree nut native to North America, Texas is one of the top pecan-producing states, harvesting both native and improved varieties. Texas is a leading producer of peanuts and has the unique distinction of being the only state that grows all four varieties of peanuts.
