Referring to the growing interest of the Dutch agribusiness in the developing market of Uzbekistan, the Netherlands Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality decided to organize a Netherlands Pavilion at this promising Expo.
AgroWorld Uzbekistan
The 18th International Exhibition AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2023 will be held in Tashkent on March 15-17, 2023. AgroWorld Uzbekistan is one of the major international events in the agricultural sector of Uzbekistan, which demonstrates modern technologies in animal husbandry, poultry farming, veterinary medicine, vegetable and fruit processing, transportation and storage of agricultural products, greenhouses and the latest agricultural technology.
Netherlands Pavilion
On behalf of the Netherlands Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, Phaff Export Marketing BV organizes the Netherlands Pavilion at AgroWorld Uzbekistan.
The 126 sqm pavilion offers space for 10 ready-to-use stands and a shared lounge.
There are 4 corner stands and 6 inline stands. All stands are 9 sqm and include: carpet, wall panels, orange fascia with company name, plug socket 220v 2 kW, 2 spotlights, counter, logo on the counter, bar stool, 1 table, 2 chairs, waste basket and daily cleaning.
Agricultural Sector of Uzbekistan: Market Overview
Agriculture is an important sector of Uzbekistan’s economy, accounting for approximately 25% of the GDP and employing about 26% of the labor force.
Uzbekistan confidently took a course on innovative economic development based on the wide use of advanced technologies and the creation of investment attractiveness for foreign investors. In recent years, the country has become a major exporter of more than 150 types of fresh and processed fruit and vegetable products, and its annual export potential is estimated at more than $5 billion US dollars. The development strategy of agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2030 set the task of increasing the volume of agricultural products processing by 30% due to the introduction of new equipment and innovative technologies by 2030, expansion of its range through the introduction of new types, increase of products' exports up to 20 billion US dollars. At the same time, it is planned to develop new markets for products - the states of the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union. The results of 2017-2020 give confidence in the achievement of the goals set by the Strategy.
