For the fourth time, Phaff Export Marketing organized an in-store promotion in Spanish food retail stores. This activity was commissioned by the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) and organized with a local partner in Spain.
SUSTA
SUSTA helps small to medium-sized companies with their first steps into new export markets. Together with the Departments of Agriculture of the 14 southern states and Puerto Rico, SUSTA promotes the export of high-value food and agricultural products.
Southern U.S. food products
U.S. food products do have a good image and reputation among Spanish consumers. Besides, the consumers are increasingly open to new products.
With the organization of this event, SUSTA and Phaff Export Marketing introduce Spanish consumers to new-to-market food products.
In-store Promotion
This in-store promotion was organized in the stores of Taste of America in October 2023. During the in-store promotion, the products had a prominent place in the stores and sampling events & cooking demonstrations were organized.
Goals
The in-store promotion was organized to promote southern U.S. food products among Spanish consumers. The aim is to increase awareness of food products out of the southern U.S. Besides that, the goal was to secure shelf space for new products from the SUSTA region in Spain and to create a long-term demand for the products.
